Ben Davies

I was born and raised in the Comox Valley.  After completing my Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Victoria in history and philosophy, I worked for a local financial firm, starting in the summer of 1995.  After a few years, I decided that I couldn’t be involved in the traditional financial services industry any longer and was prepared to go back to school.  My parents actually convinced me to open up my own firm to run the business as I saw fit, without the pressures of a traditional financial services company.  I did so and in January 2004 I opened my company.  I completed by Certified Financial Planner designation and started to offer financial planning services.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy working on my farm with my partner, Josée, and our three dogs, Daisy, Lily and Haven.  We travel quite a bit and enjoy gardening.  I read a lot in my spare time, create wood-work projects and am trying my hand at painting.  I own another business which is fun to develop – the Church St. Taphouse in Comox.  I enjoy family events and spending time with my lifelong local friends.

Pauline Williamson

Office Manager

My husband, Steve, and I emigrated from the UK in 2006 and came straight to the Paradise of the Comox Valley.  My background is twelve years in the Royal Naval Service, ten years in housing the homeless and now, since 2008, working in the financial services industry.  I enjoy the people contact, organizing the admin side of things and keeping the office running smoothly.  I’m aware that I’m a bit of a control freak but that’s okay if it means clients are happy and the Boss is free to buy, sell & research.

My hobbies are anything to do with my beloved three border collies:  walking the trails, mountains & beaches that surround us and looking after the 220 Rhododendrons in my ‘Olde English Country Garden’.

Terran Berger

Project Manager

Comox Valley born and bred, I’m the newest member of the office team.  I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, completed in 2019.  My wife, Stephanie, and I just welcomed our first child to our growing family.

I work on various projects at the office, help with business development and am in the process of finalizing my licencing.  When not at work or with family, I’m on the golf course shooting for my 4th hole-in-one at Glacier Greens, where I’ve been a member for twelve years. In addition to my role at the office, I work up to twelve days as a reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces at 442 Search and Rescue Squadron at CFB Comox.

“Working with Ben & Pauline has been a breath of fresh air for me. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none. Ben’s friendly, warm, engaging, professional, knowledgeable, insightful, personal and purposeful. Pauline’s skills, abilities and personality are the absolute best.”
