Hi everyone,
The endless summer continues – hot and dry!! It’s been a fantastic few months but I think we’re all ready for a little rain. Here is a rough calendar for the Fall:
- RRSP / RRIF drawdowns; we’ll be in touch through October / November for those to whom this applies.
- For those of you who wish to make contributions to an RESP (education plan), please note that our deadline is Wed, Dec. 13th. You can do these online through your internet bill payments. If you have questions, please contact Michelyne.
- Christmas party: save the date for our annual Christmas festivities: Thurs, Dec. 14th (3-6pm)
The new First Home Savings Account will be available in the next few weeks. For a good summary of the account, please visit this page which has a good FAQ. This new account will benefit many people so if you have someone you know who is contemplating their first home purchase, please feel free to pass along this information.
I stumbled across this incredible new use of technology. Computer scientists and neurologists have developed techniques to ‘read our minds brainwaves’. It’s so accurate it knows what song you are thinking about and can translate that thought into music!
